brand new jack broke on first use!

was fitting the alloys yesterday got to the 3rd wheel and the jack eye broke off rendering it unwindable and leaving the van in mid air! anyone else had one break?

mk6!! say no more i wouldnt trust that jack to lift up a push bike let alone a van :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: mk5 ones are a bit better but not much small trolley jack is the answer :D you can even get aluminium ones now :D even better for you and your lightweight van :D :lol: :lol:
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

No problem with the Jack but the handle is a Nightmare I found :oops:

The jack on my previous van (MK6 Pannel van) bent on that ring aswell luckily i noticed before it snapped off.
