alternator

hi, good people of ftf!

the sequel to my first question.

i asked a while ago about putting in a second battery and that is all fine now, but to be honest i havent a clue when it comes to engines either. according to the diagram on this forum about split charge relays i have to connect the relay to the alternator. can someone enlighten me on how this is done please? thanks
