Shift Indicator Light. should my van have one ? i have a light on the dash but never comes on when i drive(and when i drive slow). its a 85ps trend swb.

Think on the 'earlier' shift lights they only come on when holding the revs high rather than when you get to the revs if you see what I mean :!:

Does it light up on the cluster when starting :?:
I miss my 'courtesy van'............140 Glx..now a Jumbo :(

TBH ive not taken a lot of notice of them, dont tend to drive stuff that hard anymore :oops:

On mine it depends on where you have the throttle. Light throttle at 1800rpm and it comes on. Foot to the floor and it wont come on. It also wont come on with foot off.

Though I dont like it it does remind me that I now have 6 gears.

Good point! That's number two on my list of potentially useful features of the Mk7. I do wish the list was longer.
