HLA is mentioned in my April 2008 brochure, but not in the 2007 brochure (dated September 2006). Presumably, you ask because you can't try the van. If HLA is fitted, there is a warning light showing a van (looks like a Connect) on a slope.

Now that is interesting.
Can he do a 140 Jumbo 2007 plate? (I suppose I should just ask him, I`ll do a search).

Could somebody explain how Hill Start Assist works? Does the van just know when to enable it or do you have to manually turn it on?
I`m trying to work out how it works with manual transmission, do you just floor the accelerator and release the clutch, so that HSA can control it or what? (just very curious).

Thanks.

If the van is in gear and on an incline, and the clutch and brake are depressed, when the brake is released it holds the brake on for about a second before they release, to give you time to bring the clutch up to bite.

Hi
My built 7/10/2007 T350 130 5 speed model has this fitted and works well , on a steep hill the brakes stay on for 2-3 sec's when you have removed you foot to allow you time to get you foot on the accelerator and the green logo on the dash lights up .
