I had my Transit T280 remapped by a ChippedUK dealer, Miller Performance in Stoke.
They removed the chip and then reprogrammed it.
The difference wasn't instant, probably after the 3rd time I drove it.

The van is quicker now, there is definitely more grunt and power. Plus top speed is more now!
I love suprising people when I go chasing after them in the trusty tranny!

i`ve been delving alittle deeper into this tuning game, and there are quite a few chippeduk dealers....

this guys not a back street gargage, hes got dealers all over the country... so what went wrong.

I take it that Jason from Chipped UK hasn't popped up again? I was following this thread with some interest a month ago and just updated myself now. It speaks volumes that he can't be bothered to get back in touch with a dis-satisfied customer, as any good businessman should, and at the very least offer a refund.

To give his service the benefit of the doubt - I suppose there's always going to be the odd engine that won't benefit from his attention, and he must be prepared to offer the customer his money back.

It makes me wonder just what map he put into yours - perhaps it was for something else (Mondeo?) and not for your specific model.

Jason monitors all forums & has clearly decided not to do anything..

Despite the fact he hasnt sorted it, if he gave a sh*t or had any brains he would have refunded hairy arsed Becks, as theres now a few forum members who have read this who not only would never use him but would slate him if he was ever mentioned.. ( this thread has had what, 6000+ views ? !!)

Thats bad marketing & incomplete customer service... MADNESS !!

i spoke to a chap who was selling a chop business and i mentioned that i`d had a tranny done that didn`t work, he guessed who it was and even quoted the " drive it for 200 miles before you see a difference"
