Just thought i would add you cannot remove the bulb as it does not have a traditional bulb in the dash.

If you strip the clocks down you canot access the bulb from the rear of the clocks like on most previous transits.

You have to remove the front clear plastic panel and then gently lift the black printed plastic strip with the MPH 7 RPM etc on it, this then allows you to see the little LED type light, i used some pointed nose plyers and grabbed the LED thing, gave it a twist to break the solder and then pulled it out.

The speedo lights are LED's built into a printed curcuit board.

i still got an old "solo" wheel from the 70s/80s out of my old mk3 cortina...id like that in my van!
