it has nothing to do with you remote knacking up... funnily enough when i got into my van the other day i turned the key and nothing happened. turned again and the van fired up!!!!!!! Happened couple o times. still not sure what it was/is if it happens again i will check the central locking and alarm thingy ma jig.... lets no the outcome :roll:

finally found the problem, one wire didnt have a good connection on it and was touching metalwork near battery andmust have been shorting the van or something, thanks for all the replies guys, saved me a lot of money at a garage for such a small problem :oops: , i was ready to buy new altenators and stuff.
