Oil pump recall

Spoke to the main agent today who used to service my Boxer when under warranty, he said they have had no notification from Ford about this and that there are no recalls from Peugeot either, he quoted around £700 to supply and fit the modified oil pump.

Are Peugeots fitted with the euro5 Ford engine i thought they only had the earlier euro4 like the Fiat & Citroen did?

I presume the engines are built in various countries, the engines are supplied to other manufacturers so is it just engines built in Turkey specifically for Transits that are affected ?

Pretty sure engines are built in uk.

afaik yes puegeot and citroen were (iv picked several up)

Fiat have never been fitted with the 2.2, they use the 2.3 iveco engine

Mate of mines 13 plate "Stopped" on the motorway a couple pf weeks ago. After a week of "Diagnosing" the problem it need a new engine, but not sure why

I think they do , the ECU's in them (2012 on 2.2 Boxer /Relay ) are certainly the same..

I have a Peugeot Boxer with the Euro 5 2.2 litre engine and yes it is the same as the Ford 2.2 Euro 5 (different software and it is 'only' 130 hp). The engine has "Ford" labelled parts fitted to it, such as the filter housing; gave me a surprise when I first go it home and had a nosey round!

I have just booked mine in next saturday for a service, the lady on the phone said "Ooh that vehicle has 2 recalls" It will be interesting to see what they are

Asked the dealers today and they said nothing listed for the vehicle and nothing they have been made aware of from Ford

Look them up on etis yourself,

Brake bolt on back axle, and fuel pipe chafe are my guesses

Had my letter through. Vehicle just out of warranty. Transit Tourneo mk7 2.2. 3-4 hours they reckon. Does this mean free oil change then??
