If battery is dead as a dodo in a week the diode pack in the Alternator may have gone, this would allow a flow of current all the time it is turned off.

do you have a multi meter? if so check alt output as it may be reading high with a fault in it, and when disconnected and read across main connection you will see a DC amperage reading when all is switched off.

Hey, its reading 0.3amp, when ignitions is off.

sounds like a diode has gone then. I doubt anything else like the clock will pull anything like .3 of an amp.

Would the battery draining be linked to the van constantly slow? Like its in limp mode, all the time but taking ages to get to 40 (4 minute) abd max speed up hill 25mph?

Where would i find diode? In the ecu i suppose.
