I know of Jason of Chipped UK & his company has an excellent reputation - if it actually was him or one of his agents / dealers he's either telling the truth, or made an error , or the ecu has reset itself ( last ones unlikeley ) either way im sure he will fix it - if you dont have any luck PM me your number & i'll make hime aware of the problem .. -

You can definatley up the power via the diag port / laptop / specialist interface .

i am sorry guys but i dont know about other firms but bluefin is the only way imo this is the only one i would recommend as i know this works!
and also the good thing is you can take it off and put it on when you want too,also you get the codes red and you can also completely wipe the ecu so the van will not start and knowbody will be able to do that as the bluefin stores the ecu memory!
yes i know the bluefin is more money but you get what you pay for!

well, 200+ miles and still no noticable increase in power.

i drive a jumbo with a 137psi engine almost every day, and the power difference between the 2 transits is vast. ( the 137 being far greater)

I have just emailed the company, with a link to this thread, to see what their reply will be.

I have come here after an email by the owner of this car.

I would like to make a few points to clear the air and express my side of the event.

When tuning a diesel ford we use alien tech, this is a market leader in ford programming equipment and the feedback we have had from ford forums has been excelent.

The person who read and wrote the file was simon, my head technician who is extremely qualified in tuning having been my 2nd for a year now.

The maps we change in this ecu ar fuel, smoke, torque and inj pressure which leads to very good results.

The hardware we use removes the power to the diesel pump dropping the pressure which is good for anti-corrupton when reading and writing but leads too low fuel pressure which takes a while to reach max again.

Also we would never do anything that wasnt 100% honourable and im sure there will be a problem somewhere with the vehicle which if it can be bought back to us we will check out and rectify labour free.

I have a reputation of doing all i can to help my customers and over the years this has bought me a fantastic lifestyle so of course its in my upper most thoughts to maintain this position.

I can assure you of my attention to detail and will do all i can to resolve any issues.

Point is even with a freebie to fix the issue, @£200 a throw of course you can have nice looking premises. To be honest all this remapping etc is a little bit like smoke and mirrors much like the phone unlocking biz was limited to begin with now anyone can get on to it. You may well have excellent results but for now you have sold a member of here something that isn't doing what you claimed. If you prove to fix this vehicle then I am sure a lot more members on here will be beating path to your door especially since you are £300 less than the market leader of Bluefin

Your website is in need of updating as the semi exotic cars are rarely floored so those owners unless they do track days wouldn't see the results of your remapping. Real vehicles are what need to be shown not £30k+ cars that hardly get used. Remember that 90% of statistics are made up on the spot and even dropping the sarcasm in that comment you can make numbers with stats say anything you want if you know how to maniplulate numbers well enough.
