Just double checked the batteries and the front auxiliary battery was only reading 12.1V and the rear starter battery where the solar system is connected was reading 12.9V.
I guess my solar system doesn't charge the front aux battery when the van is not running and locked. Correct me if im wrong but the two batteries are disconnected when the ignition is off and the van locked until the ignition is turned on and the sure start system utilizes both batteries and then the connection remains to change both via the alternator until the ignition is switched off again?
My transit is a camper and not regularly used so obviously the front auxiliary battery is taking a beating.
Charging the front battery overnight to see if that makes any difference.
