how can i confirm i have the correct wiring harness?

cheers lee

Mk7 Euro-4 2.2 and 2.4 engines are vastly different. Mk7 Euro-4 2.4 only came in three variants, 100, 115, & 140. The 100 and 115 engines are near identical, the only difference is the 115 came from the factory with a 6 speed gearbox and the PCM mapping is different. The 140 is quite different, different injectors, 6 speed, two oil filters and electronic VNT turbo. You need to find out which you have as the engine harness is quite different. Can you take a photo of the engine for us..??

Just as a curiosity "point of note". The 115 harness often has the VNT plug (clipped to the power steering bracket) but running the std waste gate turbo.

I've fitted a 100ps 5sp harness onto a 115ps engine without issues.
(Might have needed to extend the reverse switch wiring but may be wrong. It was a looooong time ago.... ) but nothing major.
