I just got it out this evening after a few more hours faffing. I will attach some pics. I will upload a video of the tip. Whats your guys opinions. Looks to have got v hot to me

Thanks mate, going to remove the seals and recut the seat try a new injector/injectors( get my others tested). She how it goes. First I've seen it like that I suppose you learn something new everyday. Hoping thers no major damage to the cylinder head.

Get them tested before putting any back into the engine
Do a tank drain, clean and flush all lines and replace Fuel filter.

Will do 100%. Need to order a rocker cover anyway as I smashed the old one away.

So as a follow on from this, i picked up an whole low milage donor engine locally, looks to have blown out the core plugs beside the injector holes. Where is the best place to get replacements. As this engine is low milage and clean with new injecots. Like to get it cleaned up and ran.

Ford parts plus or an engine rebuilder.

Used to be able to get stuff like that from any motor factors or general automotive hardware suppliers but gone are those days.

I'd be asking why have those plugs have been forced out.
Possibly do a "bench run" compression test before fitting.
Also a good reason to swap out the glow plugs before fitting.
