converting a Mk6 SWB from double doors to single tailgate

I managed , with the help of my friend Steve the cabby. to get the tailgate hung today. Drilled the holes in the roof to take the hinge bolts and it went straight on first time


Back to Fords now for all the extra bits it needs to finish the job off

My old rear doors i took off are really bent. The last owner backed the attached ladder into something and the doors came off badly.

A long over due update. My van has now finally passed it MOT Now down to the fun stuff of fitting out in the inside. I'm fitting twin batteries and using a split charge diode . Now for this i need to run a new cable between the Alt and the charger as i don't want the starting charge to go back through it. Could anyone tell me what the alt chargeing cable is rated to so I know what size cable to buy , or is it starting size cable as well??
