but whats stoppin the fookas breaking and twisting the drivers lock. surely this will activate the central locking? or am i fick.

at the end of the day if they want in they will find a way :( :( but its just a case of slowing them down :D we have a simple ratchet strap system that if you lean thru the bulkhead you can ratchet the back and side door's up which means it will take a while for em to get in there its just they will go in via the cab :(
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

That's why I won't have a bulkhead even though it would be useful :roll:
At least with my van they can look through the windscreen and see there's f.a. in the back of the van. :wink:
Even if you don't need it, grab it.
The minute you do need it, it'll be gone.

I am going to get the fella who puts the locks on british gas vans to put big meaty locks on mine just to put them off. Hopefully will stop them trying.

The trouble with big beefy looks is it just makes people think you have something to hide and they are more likely to break in!

strangley nobody ever got past the £130 of padlock and £45 of hasp we have on the back of ours..........

I get them off all the time with the keys :roll: One of em had a tiny crimp in it once, somebody tried bolt cutters but probably strained something doing it. It was barely dented, but we stopped using it anyway.

Interesting, what about using large section of angle iron, cut to fit and even have a bit more protruding closer to the door when its closed, any comments welcome..
