(Oh and by the way you can quote alot easier if you simply click the 'quote' box on the top right of this square box  )

Can you see any numbers on the injectors :?:

This, I think is one for Nighthawk :!:

Yes the lights do go out when the engine is running.

I'll check the numbers on the injectors tomorrow, in day light and hopefuly when it has stopped raining and get back to you, Thanks

And if nighthawk could shine some light on the matter, then i would really appreciate it!!!!!!!

I told the garage selling it that I thought something was wrong - and at that point the garage gadgee "remembered" that there was something wrong with the turbo. He said that some signal wasn't getting through to either it or the pump - hence the poor performance. It drove exactly as you described - and I couldn't get going enough to get into top gear either. He did take it to another garage who he said had it fixed before the day was out - but I was buying another truck by that time....

Hope you get it sorted out anyway mate.

The turbo has ment to of been tested and has come back ok, but i'll mention that to the next garage that i try and see what they say, Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who might beable to sort my van out in the East Yorkshire area please?

The turbo did cross my mind but I would have thought it would be smoking alot due to the lack of air and or shown up as a coded fault in the ECU :!: :?: :? :(

One check is to remove the outlet pipe of the turbo and being very careful not to cut yourself on the blades, see if the blades spin freely :!: :?:

I've removed the inlet pipe and there are some blades there that spin freely, are they the same thing? :?

so this is a FWD 75ps?

If the pump has had a repair, what was it for?

It's quite possible the injectors are also in need of some TLC

change the filters, check all pipe work for restriction, scan for obdII codes, boost pressure check

then and only then start spending money on repairs or replacement of components.

I'll find out exactly what was done to the pump,

are the injectors easy to take out, and if so what shall i do with them once i have, what am i looking for??

Can i use a snap-on fault finding machine to check for obdII codes?

Its got all new ford filters on it, its the first thing ford did, There was fuel sat in on top of the injectors when i got it back from ford so i thought they must of checked all the pipe work, but it no harm checking it again, Anything worth ago.
