Flushed the tank out for the screenwash to hopefully clear the crud from the bottom out. Filled with water for a test and washed the roof :D Drained the water and filled with screenwash and barely reached the windscreen :( I've got a spare pump and will see if that improves things tomorrow.

When we got the van the isolator for the leisure battery was under the bed and meant you had to unmake the bed if we wanted to turn the electrics off when parking up after a trip away.
Today I added a second isolator at the back of the van inside the back door and keeping the original one in the on position.
The picture shows it in the on position and on/off labels have since been added.

I've got this on my garage door, well similar. If it is non functioning while on the connected position it might be useful as a quick disconnect in emergencies.

I did consider somethging like that but was unsure about reliability etc. Not seen them mentioned online with real life experiences so went with the old skool isolator switch.

The wiper blades need replacing on the campervan and I found out when googling they are very different sizes on the van, 26 & 22". Plenty on Ebay in pairs for the van but is there a go to place people here with MK7's use?

The OH noticed some 'rust' on the top door runner for the sliding door, not sure how as she's only 5'2" compared to my 5'11" Had a quick look and clean up and it's rust coloured marks and cleaned up with a cloth though there is some exposed metal. A rub of the area with some wet n dry and cover up with white hammerite will suffice I guess. Question is should there be some grease in the top and bottom runners, if so bog standard LM grease?

Couldn't get any hammerite from Halfrauds for the exposed metal on the door runner so ended up with a white touch up pen which did the job, google and a few threads here suggested silicon spray to lube the rollers on the door which was applied this morning.
Blew the washer pipes through from the first t-piece under the bonnet and a quick test seems to have worked and the upper half of the windscreen gets wet now :D

A parcel from Fuel Lagoon arrived yesterday with doorcard storage organiser and thermal screens for the barn doors. Fitted them properly this morning and already the images are on the FL website as there weren't any of those particular screens on their website. The fit and quality is superb. I' got some ply doorcards off fleabay for £25 as the first place I looked at only sold upper and lower cards for £50 and wanted £40 postage

The front thermal screens only show pictures of the passenger door and windscreen and list them as 3 pieces, but they don't list a set of 5 :?

There are suckers, strong ones, too strong TBH but I've got the screens tucked in between the glass and the metal of the door. My van is on the Thermal Screens page in glorious white.

Retired it from active duty due to tinworm
It's been one cracking van over the years.
And it was the reason I found and joined this forum. Image
