Years ago when we used to play with turbo'd hot hatches my mate kept his parents old dishwasher, run it off a hose and extension lead and it made a great parts washer ! Although his old man went mental when he saw that the waste was just going into the soak away :shock: Killed of the lawn at the back of the garden :lol:

I can remember when i was young respraying all my mini parts in the front room in front of the fire.
it was a lovly job but the poor house. there was even over spray some how in the up stares rooms :roll: o wat fun :D :wink:

Rebuilt whole engine and gearbox for mini in our starter home conservatory, easy building it, but struggled getting it out the door :o

And a thin scraper , what ever you don't soak the round rubber seal as it is not avable seperatly you have to get the whole mannifold

I always done convertible mini turbos and put the metro turbo engines in them.# go like sh*t off a shovel :twisted:

so i just got new parts today and all fitted.
booked in at Fords Dees in Croydon for Friday.

i asked for a PCM and update and they said to go on ids it was £138?

see how it goes on the day.

at the mo lo fan is still sitting under a 1000 revs but no hunting.... :|

HI First reply on here. I had problems with a fuel leak around the injectors and found it to be the little 'o' rings on the bleed off rails. Easy job- they just unclip from the top of the injectors. The only problem is you cant buy the seals on their own you have to buy a new rail from the 'mainstealers'. £71!!! no tools required and you can fit in 10 mins if you have the airbox off. Keep the old rail tho in case you do another and you have a spare seal or two! hope it helps.

I bought 4 green 'o' rings from Ford for a couple of pounds the other week.:-)
