Hi Loot
My 57 plate IS a Euro 5 confirmed by Ford Dealer today, It is a 130 ps Puma, it has the electronic turbo and a different kind of fuel filter.

I will post the outcome of my problems when they are sorted.

remember you took the speed limiter of my other van the silver 13 plate, we met in mc dons car park, this one has the same engine in.

No way, Euro 5 never came out till late 2011, and they were limited in numbers till 2012.
Euro 5 outputs are 100, 125 and 140 for fwd, and 100, 125 and 155 for RWd (all Mk 7)
Who ever is telling you it's a 130 ps mk7 Euro 5 from 2007 is wrong

130ps is Euro 4 had the electronic actuator turbo. And are well known for melting pistons, but not for oil pump issues.

Please confirm that this has a 5 speed gear box??
All Euro 5 are 6 speed

Ake thanks for the info you may well be right then, i thought as it had the electronic turo it was euro 5 and my ford dealers didnt say it wasnt! , it has as you say a four speed box.
Please confirm that this has a 5 speed gear box??
All Euro 5 are 6 speed

hi guys
some great people on here full of info
Ake has just pointed out that my mk7 57 plate is in fact a euro 4 not a euro 5! but i still have my other van a mk7 13 plate which is a euro 5 with 201,000 miles on the clock , ex lease hire, phoned Northgate yesterday and they were very helpful and were able to tell me that the van had a oil pump change in 2014 so im happy thats been done.

I will still post the outcome of my 57 plate problems when sorted
thanks everyone for your positive feedback.

I didn't argue the fact because i couldn't remember if previously you'd said the engine was changed to a newer 1 so i thought it would be less confusing for me to assume it was lol.

If the 57 plate van hasn't been modified and is all original then Ake is absolutely right :-)
In which case, despite them both being mk7, the 13 plate is more similar to the mk8 than the euro 4.

Euro 4 is denso
Euro 5 is Siemens

update

my mk7 euro 4
returned from my local Ford Dealership Bengrys in Leominster who have been absolutely amazing
They told me my Motor Home should have had a PCM update which was missed ,Full ford service history with the vehicle
So they approached Ford to see if they would help!
Low and behold Ford came back with an offer of a New Engine and fitting as a Gesture of Goodwill

So im now back on the road with a New Engine fitted, whilst out Bengrys recommended fitting a new clutch and flywheel due to play in the DMF £750 so approached the dealer who we bought the van from as it was under warranty and they agreed to pay for that.
Then Bengrys said it needed new NSF dics and Air conTensioner £752 so waiting to see if dealer will pay for that to as the van has only done 2000 since we bought it

I cant thank Bengrys and Ford enought for the way I have been dealt with over this matter
but if i had taken the vehicle to a local non Ford Dealership I would have got nothing im sure.

It is nice to get some positive feedback, it is sparse between but nice to hear, there's no reason we shouldn't all be treated like this.

That's an excellent result, and proves the point about dealer servicing :D
