Had my letter through. Vehicle just out of warranty. Transit Tourneo mk7 2.2. 3-4 hours they reckon. Does this mean free oil change then??

ETIS is telling me I'm not affected, checked right now, but I think I'm a euro5 engine in the date range

Is http://www.etis.ford.com up to date? Should I talk to a dealer to check for this? I've heard a lot of bad stuff about the oil pump from you guys on the forum.

Check with ford dealer dosent cost out for piece of mind, maybe see if they will do a print out to show its not effected.
Yours is a 13 plate different pumps might of been fitted at factory.

Your build date is December 12.
Mines November 11 and a euro 5 and was recalled. Could yours have been done before hand over?

No, I bought it about 2 months ago, fully serviced before I got it. How long has the oil pump recall been active? I got the impression it was new.

Given this thread was started two years ago by someone knowledgeable I'd suggest the recall has been out for two years.

Yours will have been done, they started with the oldest vans, ours were done June/July 2014
