No, I never use hand brake, don't think I've ever done a "hill start" in a van.
Saying that I don't think I do in a car either.

I think it's from driving so many bangers years ago before I could afford a car that worked.

No dice :-(
Installed software for a later van.
Tried calibrating logitudinal sensor-routine failed.
Tried calibrating abs or something-failed
Calibrated steering angle sensor-success.
Downloaded vin data thing- success.

When it fails it is checking abs, the abs pump makes a noise, identical to bleed master.
It has to be a different abs pump/module as there's nothing else i can think of :? Can the yaw sensor be different?
Might just smash the hsa led so it stops winking at me when i start the van  don't think it's worth replacing the abs pump.
Only other thing is that the vcm clone isn't capable of doing the process?
Bummer

I know ABS pump is different to ABS/ESP. I will check against one with HSA.

In the mean time I have full ASAP built data & .ab file for mk7 2.2 115ps if you require it 8)

Cheers Paul :-) i got ab from a 140 exactly the same as mine but 08 with later clocks, only 1 byte different in the ab compared to mine which i wishfully thought was it lol.

Question, do all transits that come with abs/esp/later clocks 08 on have hsa? or the option to turn it on?
I also am wondering if i need to actually mod the abs data (install a calibration to it from a hsa pump?
If you could find out about the pumps tho Paul that would be great :-)

Ours is a 61 and has hill start. Can't be turned on/off like connect.
57 plate didn't have it. Thing I noticed between the 2 vans, there is something like a solenoid on a brake pipe running down bulkhead under the servo. I don't know if itss any use ill post u a pic.

Yes please, anything that may help is good :-)
Just thought of something, my diagrams go upto 052008, i don't suppose anybody knows when hsa First came out? If it's after this date then i probably don't have the correct diagram :-(

A guy on here has said he has a 57 plate and hsa has stopped working so that takes it around 2008 i think.
I doubt it'll be fitted if the van doesn't have both abs and esp, don't ask me if they were both standard tho :?:

If i have a 2007 abs module then surely it'll be programmed without hsa? Can anyone say whether i can install abs data? And for a later calibration? Or will it have had the only available update for my van?
I wonder if it is just abs module data or is there extra components on the pump/system?
Walt mentioned an extra solenoid but it isn't listed in my diagram :-(
Would be cool to get to the bottom of this but if Paul doesn't find anything then just short of me pinching a van and striping it then I'm not sure lol

After checking Ford Microcat....

If early 2007 mk7 don't HSA possibly reason why..

Lateral sensor was changed from 6C11-3C190 to 8C11-3C190 in 10/2007
Along with ABS/ESP pump from 6C11-2C405 to 8C11-2C405

NOTE - ABS/ESP pump is different between RWD & FWD :!:

OK thanks :-)
Think I'm going to have to do some drastic modification if i want hsa then.
Not going to be cost affective i think.

Cost effective doesn't come in to it, it's a mod.

Don't think its brake related. I unplugged it and hsa still works. What ever it is it knew I'd unplugged it. Image
