Wow...that turbo looks in poorly condition..The lower part of the arm lever operates the variable turbine nozzles inside the housing, this is how it adjusts the "boost pressure"...rather than a waste gate as found on a normal turbo.
Here's a pic of mine taken 5 mins ago..!

I just give the linkage a squirt with a little spray grease every time I think of it...which is not too often..!

Oh Lord, yes it does!
Don't know why though. The rest isn't that bad.

Recieved the replacement turbo today
And my mechanic thought he was funny too

On the downside, I wasn´t aware, that I should have bought new bolts too... The price in DK isn´t that great... as is nothing..

Anyone how has the specs for a new set of bolts? I can't find a set it in Denmark and if I'm going to a shop and ask for a handful of loose nuts and bolts, it's nice to know what to ask for

The turbo is still on the van, and looks like some of the bolts has to be cut off...
