on a different note does any body else think their 235/50/18 alloys look small? I assume the ride height on the 350 rwd is higher than the rest? fitted 1 and it was smaller overall than the other wheel( which I just didn't think would be the case although some simple maths would have done lol)
think I'll have to lower it a couple of inches :?

I put my 18's next to the old wheels before changing over just to confirm same size, yet I think the low profile makes them look "skinny" and because of that it looks too high at the back. Maybe because we associate low profile with sport, with lower ride height, that's why it looks wrong. Anyway no your not alone, lowered mine by 40mm looks fine now.

I put the old wheel next to the new 1 on the van and it looked not much less than an inch taller( old 1)
the front should look ok I think as it's weighed but the back Does sit higher, also being rwd I can only see a bit of possible lowering, or a ton of sand in the back lol.
not into flipping the axle and not sure about bending the springs either.
it's a puzzler should have bought some 20's

The guy that did it re tensions springs, so normally he makes them higher. Can't say they are any different apart from lower. Wouldn't go any more than 40mm, as although it doesn't bottom out, I can see it touches the bump stops due to the 2 clean patches on the beam axle :)
