Nice job belly big difference on pics on the transporter, did you resray her as she cleaned up unbelieveably well i see you use the same jack as i do although i only use it for psv washing or a clutch etc WITH AXLE STANDS. Very handy that cross member being that far forward on the rear wheel drives although your,re right toe extensions would help as they only just catch it and no more, you have to make sure the handbrake is on or you could loose a few exspensive bits if she rolled back the back is handy lifted if you have a towbar fitted

Cheers, no i didn't respray it! removed all the sign writing with a heat gun and petrol for the residue, then jet washed it whilst raining sprayed neat tfr all over it then washed it by hand jet washed off again, then spent two days mopping it with g3 and 3m finnesse jet washed again and washed again with with some autosmart normal car wash stuff ! the insides needed the old ply ripping out bulkhead taking out and seats along with bases and carpet thing! swept and shovelled all the soil out then jet washed and washed with diluted tfr, painted the floor right through cleaned all the carpet and seats then put it all back in with new ply Also jetted all the underside and got rid of all the mud i got soaked cold oily and filthy but its not turned out to bad

Also just dropped the van off to the co that's using it! came from lee-on-solent to Eastleigh so came down the M27 drove nice and smooth cruises nice on the motorway happily at 80mph but omg how do people live with a 90ps everyday there gutless they slow on hills like the old mk5's maybe a little harsh guess im just used to the 135ps

Ouch, that stuff murders your hands especially if you have cuts, have used it neat on a berlingo but wunt dream of doing owt that big

You,re right about them being slow but no better a van to hire out as i find our mk6,s which are all 90ps are nearly bulletproof when you have multiple drivers in a firm. The 90ps i find tend not to be as sore on themselves as the higher ps engines, maybe less stress and strain with bad drivers and boy racers. i got all ours limited to 60 mph on the bosses orders and definately noticed a difference on the amount of parts and wear and tear they go through, but the drivers dont particularly like me now as a result of this, but i dont care because the bulk of them drive too fast for their lack of experience and inconsideration for all the other people they are carrying in the van, also i hardly have any breakdowns now and a handier life because of it, so its maybe just a thought that you could prolong the life of your 90ps by limiting it to 70mph

cheers for the advice i'm lucky though the guy that uses it is a plodder and takes care of his vehicles he was gutted when it broke, if it ever goes back on the marquee's it will definately get restricted
