Would the new universal part number be different to that of the original early edition ones? Could get confusing Lol.
Are 2.4 the same scenario?

Eucat lists half service block as 6009 and full service engine as 6006 but there's loads of part numbers and about 9 pistons for the 2.2 :?

Anyway that's for another thread

In this 1 I'd like to service my injectors

Hi, does anyone know if bb are older than bc? I have the chance to buy a used bb injector fairly cheap, apparently it has only done 25k and it does look consistent, but if bc superceeded bb then surely that can't be right?

If you can still buy bb then maybe that's OK, I'd like to fit it cheaply for now just to keep the van from smoking under load, I'll do a leak off test if i get it which should be good and stop the van blowing up for now

My understanding is that the suffixe codes are in sequence with age, so BA will be older than BB which is older than BC
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

Injectors might not be up to BC yet but some parts like the bcm have been through more changes.

I've just bought the injector, 28.30  so we'll see if the theory of buying second hand injectors is right or wrong, still, if it is Duff then I'll have 5  maybe i can sell them as 5 nearly new injectors for a 3.2?

What's wrong with buying second hand injectors Loot?
You got four pre-used ones when you purchased your second hand van

I know but i was able to test them by turning the key

There's a lot of ppl selling perfectly faulty injectors online, probably because they bought new ones to fit to their van then decided to sell the old ones to me
Not always but certainly the 4 i bought and am stripping down.
