Haha  must admit - even tho I'd disconnected the bat I still found myself angling the bag away from myself :)

I'm taking all my extra functions off, like cruise, aircon, computer. Trying to be different, and I will soon be the only one without all this ;)

Will unplugging the plug below steering wheel be safe enough for airbag not to go off!!!

That plug will cut all power yes, it's the reconnecting that is the worrying part even tho no power goes to the airbag unless a crash sensor is set off our the srs tells it to, still, it is a tense moment!

Chris, what are you doing with the wires to change the message? And do you think it would stay like that if you set it and locked the doors etc?
I did the horn beeping but it was wired up lol.

I suppose it doesn't work on the older clocks then :-(
Great info for ppl wanting it who have later clocks.
Although, if you live somewhere where you feel the rage on a daily basis driving through town, your clocks will have an identity crisis

Having put cruise control steering wheel on and screwing back shroud any ideas what the extra plug taped up near radio control stalk is??? It seems to come from the plug that the cruise control and horn wires come from?
Loot does the green cruise light only come on when activated??

Yes, when you get the software sorted the cruise lamp comes on and goes off with the ignition switched on, same as the other warning lamps
