i am sorry guys but i would only go for the bluefin ,it works very very well ,superchips is a very well known company ! but you pay alot for one but you get results!
i have had bluefin for around 1 yr now and the van goes like a bat out of hell when you want the power!
most of the time i drive normal but wow the power is so good when you put your foot down!

There is nothing wrong with the remap, of that there is no doubt

This being the case, it just plain doesn't work then perhaps your efforts should stay firmly aimed at leisure drivers, while the professionals will still use Bluefin

if they cant sort it out, get your money back and go for a bluefin, well worth the extra cash, the difference is amazing,
had to uninstall mine at the weekend as it was going in as PX against the sportvan, it had been installed for over a year, so took the extra power for granted, unchipped the power drop was very noticeable, it's still very fast, but the bluefin just gives it that bit extra,

keeping it for now to see if superchips can crack the mk7, as it will be cheaper to get it reprogramed to the mk7 (about £180) , than to sell it, then have to go buy a new one for the mk7, if i do decide to sell i ll offer it on here first,

I have seen over the last 7 or so years how this man, more recently trading under the name of chipped uk (the name doesn't even deserve capital letters) has ripped people off left right and centre. Even managing to rip people over in Ireland IIRC.

For some unknown reason though, there seems to be a few happy BMW customers so he must have pirated some decent software somewhere along the line....

I just can't believe he is still managing to get away with it after all the bad reports across the internet!!

To think i came on this thread initially offering to help contact him etc - i feel a bit naive now..

All i had ever heard from him is a relentless commitment to customer / dealer support so i assumed it would be resolved quickly.. ...

as i said before haveing delt with superchips in buckingham they are a very pro outfit that have took pride in ther work for many years ! you only have to go there and you can see the way they are with there offices and waiting room etc! but you get what you pay for, if somebody said to me here is a chip for your van for £150 i know it would be no good !

chipped uk sounds a right bodge up firm, very unfair to rip people off like this, i doult very much they will give becky a refund,

i would demand a refund and if one wasnt received then persue them through trading standards or even a small claims court,

come on jason do the decent thing and give becky a refund, surly giving a £200 refund is better than all this bad publicity,

if i sell the bluefin ( which i doult as think superchips will eventually sort the mk7 ECU) think its only fair to offer it to motorwise first, as he asked first

certain things will always dictate where you go.

i`m self employed so time is money. to take 5 hours out of a working day is unecconomical, production lost would tripple the cost. first i looked around my area and found no one close.

when i was at a show, and walked past chipping companies selling their stuff, then it "should" make good sense to have it done there. you save time, fuel and the price paid is the correct price for car shows as they compete for business from other companies, so have to be realistic with what they charge.

jasons set up is quite convincing, you wouldn`t think he was a ripp off by looking at the premises.

as said before i wont be chasing it, throwing good money after bad, i can lose £200, and take the great pleasure of telling anyone and everyone don`t go to chipped uk.....

how can you see into the ecu, do you remap also?
