Could be the fuel ?

I recently put a tank of "premium" diesel in because the price had dropped so low, wish I hadn't - it ran rough and the consumption was awful.
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

Loot...I wonder if your SCV is a bit off, I've pulled my original one apart not long ago and found a few small "score" marks in the bore and on the piston itself...The piston should fall in and out under it's own weight, mine didn't...I gave them a good clean with alcohol and then a wee polish with some very fine "5000" grade polishing paper and she came good...Might pay to have a look at yours and do the same thing...I'd do the learns again after though, you'll have changed it's characteristics a wee bit.

There's a small circlip holding the piston/valve in, and a spring behind the the valve. Check the metering edges of the valve and the outer metering ports for nicks or damage etc, you may need a magnifying glass to do so though...I'm thinking any amount of "hangup" here will cause hunting issues.

Has anyone used data logger in ids to turn off and on individual injectors to try and eliminate noises?

good afternoon transit lovers

I need your help.

I have transit mk7 2.2 PGFA 140hp Euro 4, System injection/pump denso, but the engine broke.
I bought a motor mk8 CVR5 155hp, System Injection/pump siemens.

Is it possible to install in my mk7, the CVR5 with injection and pump siemens?
Or i have changed to the System injection/pump denso?

Regards from portugal
