Got mine jacked up again last night as having done it the night before I had to drop it off onto 4 wheels to go over to my folks where we had work to do and more space for me to clean hers.

So slackened off all the front end hardware last night then this afternoon got the big hammer out to pop the ball joints and drop the struts.ImageImage

Two new crown bearings and remodel the spacers for the top adding a bit extra to level out the Van.

Also pulled a screw out one tyre an it's still got wind in it . Chunkies have there up sides Image

Over the bank holiday I managed to get the brackets fitted for my Tourneo seat, new ply fitted and partly carpeted. Also got the headlining in a few weeks ago but it’s very saggy. Has anybody come across a fix for sagging roof lining?

I havent posted much but I have been busy on the interior of my van. I have taken out the partition and the middle of the 3 seats, I have tinted up the rear windows a bit darker, run in lots of wiring, including 2 rear camera's, one for a normal rear view mirror view, one for a parking view which switches immediately the van is put into reverse.
I have added a pair of 6x9 speakers in the rear and upgraded the door speakers.

I have added 8 new led light units.

Changed the interiir lights for led bulbs, and changed the headlight bulbs for 100w 43k ones
I have insulated behind all the existing panelling and panelled what wasn't panelled. Added 2 cigarette lighter sockets in each of 3 corners. I have almost finished carpetting the inside, but I have used 20 m2 and run out. I have done some work on the auxilliary electrics, including removing the cut off relay which cuts off the electrics if the voltage is low and replacing it with a manual isolator switch.
I have changed the Ford CD6000 stereo with a Chea Chinese Android unit.

I have also bought a set of seats from a Jag XF and the fronts will be going in the cew cab area, with electric controls if we can fathom it out. I may also consider putting the rear seats in the back.

Mine failed the MOT today :(

Not rust, as I expected now that it's 11 years old, but both rear springs have broken near the forward spring hanger. Two new springs and fitting ..................... another nifty £600 invoice I could do without :!:  :P

Springs weren’t available, otherwise he would have done it there and then.

You're right, they're a mere £200 each

Sadly, I need the van back on the road ASAP, so they're ordered, and will hopefully be fitted and MOT'd on Friday. It's my own fault for not bothering to check the van over (or even get it checked over) before the MOT becomes due, and thus giving myself time to source the parts more cheaply

Thanks for the offer though, much appreciated :D

Just got the reminder that mines due it's MOT in a month.
Will get it checked while it's up in the air tomorrow. I've got engine mounts to do and possibly a TRE as noticed a slight loseness the other night I had the struts off.
Got brake lines to do as well
Wonder what else I'll find.

Suppose it could have been worse like the springs sticking out through the floor like a lot of others   :P
