Back from retest in the Cheap Tax Tramp. Only needed 3 brake pipes this time, no welding.

Whilst at it I replaced the vacuum pump gasket. I'd used the one that came with a replacement water pump, Absolute garbage, it was just die-cut gasket card which clearly can't cope with the twist put onto the pump by the belt. New gasket is metal with rubber seals set into it, only £4 from eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebay.

Got the new seats fitted tonight and gave the carpet a hoovering as it was messy as hell, can’t get her valeted for a few days but that should allow me enough time to get some leds fitted as it’s too dark in the back with the standard bulbs

This week I've replaced a front wheel bearing and the 2 broken studs on the rear caused by the alloy wheel being buckled

Not sure if a buckled alloy can be repaired, if not I'll be on the lookout for a new one

Today I have been mostly trial Fitting & mocking-up the repair panels I’ve been fabricating Over what seems like a lifetime, all made with 2mm & 1.2mm Zintec using basic tools and a cheap Machine Mart sheet bender apart from the inner tub bead rolled repair panels supplied by Tim deiselhead123 at Light Commercial Services.

There some mighty fine looking home made repair panels.
Good job mate.

Tried to make and end to the drum like sound when you close the aft doors.
It sounded like somebody was using a heavy drum.
Not realy impressed, it did help a little but should be better.

While working on the sound proofing made some extra led strips, my other hobby is scuba diving and the small lightbulb is not enough to get geared up during the dark hours.

After a good advice from this forum I replaced the front battery with a fresh one.
Only 10 minutes work if you know how.
Date of manufactoring from the old one: 2009 not bad.

Now wait and see if the trip counter does not lose its memory any more.

Tested the double fold hinges agains a wall
Decided mid reversing to change which door I was going to drop the stuff at.
Least I can say they are handy in the fact that they protrude enough that nothing else was damaged other than a bit of paintwork ImageImage
