I paid nearly £600 to get mine repaired last year, during a very very hot spell. I winced a bit at the time, but I was glad that I did it then, and now during the next few weeks :!: :P 8) 8)

Well, I watched as my van was abused by an MOT examiner... and failed it on three items.

Worn o/s wheel bearing, rusty sill on the n/s loading door, and a loose bolt on the rear of the f/n/s wishbone. Damn nut inside the chassis section is loose.

Plus a host of advisories.

Can the track rod arms be removed without specialist tools while the rack is still bolted down, as both need replacing. I have them in the store, but couldnt be arsed to fit them last time I replaced the ends..

Got new wheels and tyres fitted.

Excuse the photo for A) The bird sh!t and B) weird lighting - the front is the same colour as the side, just the way the phone took the pic.

Spent a couple of hours filling the windscreen washer bottle. Well that's how it started, it still didn't work after that so it turned into removing the bottle to check for blockages and that the pump seemed ok.

It turned out the rubber filter that holds the pump in was gunged up and after rinsing it the pump seemed to work great again. Bit of a chew but easy enough job, I know now I could do it without removing the whole thing.

Fitted a pair of Ring Xenon 150 Headlights in the 350, and ordered more ignition parts for the 330, as it still won't start. I'll have replaced the whole lot at this rate

Visited my local weighbridge. 2940 kg without a driver. Not bad for a 280 ;)

It's not that ppl don't want to help but only 1 or 2 have actually done the conversion and while I have the mk7 diagrams I don't have the mk6 so I can't help, others that might have the mk6 diagrams are likely to need to fire up a computer and find them which isn't convenient.

You are doing a conversion that really has only been done once or twice in here so although I feel your frustration but the info just isn't reddily available. :( I'm after fiesta 2018 speedo diagrams but guess what....

Try paul2012 and see if he can shed any light on it. He's not very active any more though.
