Put this duct back on. Eventually. Never take this duct out, ever.

When I took my dashboard out when I had a wiring fault and wanted to tidy extra wires that were there I thought should I put those vent ducts in then forgot and thought f*** but got them in easily

I may well have been missing something but it was a complete bar steward to get back in, N/S between the heater box and the kind of manifold bit at the bottom of the windscreen on mine.
Not enough overlap to slide either end into place and then locate the other. So tight in fact that it was squashing the tube edge over when trying to force it in. Maybe loosening another bit makes it easy. I couldn't see another bit to loosen it. There wasn't much dash out. I was only playing with the heater servo. I really don't know what possessed me to remove this duct it must have seemed like a good idea at the time!

But it's in

Apologies have not been on for a while, its a year pretty much to the day since I bought my Mk7 so today I gave it its 2nd 6 monthly oil and filter change, the filter seemed to be a funny shape when I took it out? Also did the fuel filter as well. :D

Aren't the mk6/7 the same mirrors? There was one mk7 in but since I was last there its been well and truly scavenged, there was a mk6 tourneo :D :!: I'll have the sld me thinks, so I walk round the offside and was very depressed as the sld had a massive dent all down the side :( I only wanted it for the window.
