I replaced the egr with new and no change. When I start the van cold it is low boost but not really smoking that bad then it warms up and gets louder and then gets hot after an hour of driving and smells like hot exhaust, I'm thinking collapsed exhaust, the cat looks nice and clean inside though so the flexi to box might have problems. I'll blank the egr anyway. Although I'm not really doing much on the van at I'm not driving it.

How did it go? My tramps van driver seat is so flat it really does my back in. Needs some kind of lumbar support.

Very easy mate, bolted 2 bits of flat bar on to seat base then bolted seat on to the flat bar, ford galaxy/vw sharan seat , lumbar adjustment, height adjustable and swivel base, I'm going take the back off to put some memory foam inside over the lumber adjuster for an extra bit of support and disgard the bomb from the side, I've heard people having problems fitting these and can't swivel when handbrake is on as the lever is in way , mine doesn't hit going clockwise
