Started investigating a slight clunky knock that's appeared at low speed, nothing to report and can't link it to ant particular turn, stop, start, brake, wobble or bump in the road. Only happens in first gear and sounds like somethings loose and is completely random in it's pattern of clunks.
More research required

The Mrs called my van a pikey van this morning, so I pointed out it couldn’t be as they all drive customs around here :x :lol:

Why on earth they can't use everlasting brake pads like willy w*** gobstoppers is beyond me
I shall be writing them a strongly worded letter about this :x

The last vehicle that I owned, that needed new brake pads, was my Granada Scorpio, but that was because Mrs Al used to drive it

Exactly, I've not been driving it of late what with the gender reassignment surgery n stuff
She said it was making a funny noise when braking a few weeks ago and I told her to just use the bloody gears
