roof has a leak

Needing some help as i have a leak in the roof of my van just above the rear door there is a seem that runs a long the roof and have some water coming in. what is the best way to seal the leak and what to use
any help would be great

I've seen a few of these leak at the seam approx 6" away from the end of the roof panel.

I would suggest taking it to a ford bodyshop and let them have a look at it.

Even though the vehicle may be out of warranty, FMC will look on it kindly if the vehicle meets their goodwill criteria.

If you don't fancy doing that, clean the old sealer off the roof and reapply sealer along the seam and have it repainted.

You could probably seal it from the inside, but you've got no way of being sure the water isn't being channeled somewhere else.

I think I have a leak also. Anybody else notice a lean very near the back seem.

The newer vans have a run of seam sealer along then seam 150mm from the back of the roof, this is the official fix

need to hget some one to inspect them at the meet and see if we can fix them :D
