How long before I need to change it ?

Seems fine currently .
Had it for 4.2 years . Rust but seems ok ?

Just got a call from tfl .

my 2004 van is fine and no plans currently to take it off the london roads.

I wish to keep it for 2 - 5 more years :)

So the 10 year rule some people talk about is not valid .

You are subject to the ULEZ.

From 8 April 2019 if you travel in the ULEZ you will need to pay the daily ULEZ charge. This is because your vehicle does not meet the ULEZ standards*.

Looks like that is the date. Cant drive it in anymore :(

I've come here from Google too and check date usually comes up from years ago, mods have been pruning older posts unless regarded as important. Although there's a lot of guff on the forum from day 1 i expect. :lol:

That said, I joined in 2012 and I'm still waiting for someone to tell me my fecking tyre pressures :? :lol: :lol: :D
