camper conversions

does anyone know any good websites that give advice on converting a van into a camper,mines a minibus but cant see why i cant convert it i black the windows or cover them,thinking about a homemade conversion coz me and the missus thinking about touring europe,any advice would be great

To get an idea of possibilities, layouts etc you could try roywoodtransits.co.uk as they have details on their Cavarno 2 or 4 sleeper motor caravan built on the SWB Transit, the Innovation motor caravan with rear garage made in all different length Transits, the basic Ventura Transit motor caravan, the Kentucky Camp range of Transit Coachbuilts from Italy, the Innov8 Transit with additional camping modules, plus the Westfalia Nugget Transit motorhome.
That should be enough for starters!
