Very hard taking off on ANY hill gearing help

I have a MK6 2.4 turbo diesel lwb high roof manuel.When I am loaded if I have to stop on ANY kind of hill(stop at lights ect) it is very hard to take off having to ride on the clutch hard which is not real good in a Transit as it is.Is there a way I can gear the diff up better or sum trick someone nows that can help me.Very good on highway.

5,14:1 gears instead of 4,56:1. If thats not enough take trans out of petrol engine car and use those gears in diesel car. You can´t use whole trans because bellhousing is different.

Car axle will be different, so that wont work.
