Yes Mate I do get out that way every now and then. Picked mine up from over Eastleigh way somewhere too, in October. Had a feeling the bloke was selling them for a living when they checked my money with ultraviolet pen :?

It probably won't work on mine buti might havea go tomorrow, did you figure out where all those wires went?

Yeah sorted now thanks. Noticed it whilst putting the air bag back on the wires were earthing and activating the horn relay :lol:

Oh right, but did yours say drivers door open when you first got it working?
And what were the extra wires for then? :wink:

Extra wires were the old horn wires from the old wheel. Yeah mine displays which door is open rather than ajar

SWS Commercials was where I got mine from, seemed a sound guy. He had a few, I got the one with the best bodywork but higher miles.

Mine has been sweet, needed a SCV+PRV, Martyn sorted that out and It will need a clutch master cylinder, but It really is a superb truck for what I want. Needed a water pump last week, but that can't be helped.

Ahh, different bloke then. Mine's got a couple of little bits on the bodywork, but still not too bad, and reasonable miles. Just done the SCV and PRV, and off to Martyn this aft to get it pump and piloted. Still well pleased with it though. Will keep an eye out for you next time I'm over that way, and catch up for a brew. :)

Hi mate

Did you disconnect the battery or just unplug the air bag from under the steering colum

I only disconnected the bat once i popped the airbag loose- as I needed to start the engine to
Turn the wheel to get at the clips , once I had it loose I took the negative off and waited 5 mins haha - just incase

mines sometimes comes up door ajar then changes to either drivers, passengers , luggage compartment or rear door open , a boy i know works at am phillip says its just waiting for a signal, doestn often say ajar thou, still waiting on same boy changing my wheelbearing (getting wild now) so i can get dan in glasgow to turn my wheeel on :D
