anyone info on resetting the service/spanner light on mk7, 56 plate tdci
holding brake and throttle down dont work on these.handbook says the stealers have to reset it

can you not just ignore, having been doing so on me astra last 10k or so. :)

would like it reset,most can be done with out goint to dealers
i.e some astras
press and HOLD trip button untill service interval is displayed press footbrake on then ignition on and keep pressed untill insp flashes (10-15 sec) release trip and brake ignition off job done

It's your service light and if you go to the effert of searching you will find how to reset it.

I would just take it to the Dealer let them sort it
A new van and the light stays on i would want it looked at
