ABS and Airbag Help

2002 02 SWB 2.0L

Since replacing the missing ABS and Airbag bulbs they are constantly on. My airbag light reads a fault code 5.
The van has been plugged for faults but comes back with nothing, i'm lost for next steps.

any suggestions would be a huge help.

Can you recheck your fault code, it should be 2 digits

it could be

15.........Driver air bag circuit shorted

or

35........Passenger air bag circuit resistance low

check it and i can help further

The Light flashes 5 times then a 2 second gap then flashes 5 times then a 2 second gap then flashes another 5 times... (this goes on for a few minutes)

Hi

I think you need to take your vehicle to a dealer for a complete diagnostic check on the airbag system

there isn't a 5 flash code.

When WDS or IDS is used to diagnose the system in a workshop, it'll read out the full fault code.
e.g. flash code 32 would be read off by the diagnostic equipment as B1932

Sometimes if a module becomes U/S they can flash out random codes, 1 particular code for crash data memory full requires the module to be replaced as it's an un deleteable code.
