I would like some alloys for mine too but are they as strong as steel wheels? My van is a 3.5 tonne LWB too and its always loaded to the max.

If i was to get alloys i think i would want some Ford ones.

Transit 16" heavy duty commercial alloys 80 + vat each
i have ordered 5 sets of 4 and they are comming in 3 weeks
I will put a picture up when they arrive.
These wheels are commercial only and not the lightweight car type.
