mondeo 130ps into mk6

Hi just got mondeo 2004 2.0 tdci 130ps planing to put all engine gearbox into my Transit.
Any suggestion.

mondeo 6 speed box?? you might need to change your driveshafts..
are you planning on using your wiring loom and ecu and pump? is yours a tdci already or tddi proberbly going to have to change your loom and bodge the mondeo loom to get everything working(basically a lot of work)

It can be done, although there's a lot of rewiring to do.

If only engine swap - without gearbox - it isn't problem. If Transit is tdci - it will work good with Transit PCM. Will necessary coding injectors from Mondeo into Transit PCM only.

hi its 2001 year tddi want to fitt all engine gearbox swap wiring loom ecu. i know its difficult but wil do it or try. Bigest problem for me is gearbox do you thing can put transit mk7 driveshaft or must cut and weld.

Did you think about halfshafts? They are different in Mondeo and Transit.

Second thing - total ratio for Mondeo is to fast for Transit.

You are looking for big straits - I think...

Search winterheating threads as he done a mondeo doner engine.he had to make up some driveshafts .. not sure if it was a tddi.tdci or whole thing with loom.but he did go to france in it after it was done......wonder where winterheating got to

Mondeo interior striped just fighting with all wiring. Checked and as said lots of extension to be done. Just thinking of fiting mondeo heater box so can use aircon

Ive got a complete heater from an '04 transit with AC, it's still got the pipework attached. make me an offer.

You can't disable airbag light. It must prove out for MOT (lights up when ignition is switch on then goes out).

I assume you're using Mondeo mk3 instrument cluster

Yes airbags sensor working just there is no pretensioner so heard can put resistor anybody know how to

Thanks sorted just fit pretensioner from mondeo. Next problem abs sensors from mk6 not working fitted mk7 OK but speedo reading 10 MPH less anyone know how many teeth on abs ring in mk7
