MK7 Build Quality

Postby locosaki » Sun Mar 08, 2015 10:08 pm

I've been looking for a Transit Trend/Limited for a bit now, I've come across a Trend that ticks all the boxes.

I was adamant I was going to be looking for one built in Turkey as that seemed to be the general consensus on here that the build was better over there than the UK.

Anyway, this Trend is a 2012 and the plant build is in fact Southampton, I've actually been for a look as of yet but it's from a Ford dealer local to myself so will likely go for a look this week.

My question is, with the van being in Southampton is that a good enough reason to avoid ?

Cheers

How can you tell where it was made (apart from the amount of rust)?
