what "flavour" oil is in the gearbox of a mk6 2.4 rwd. i would have thought
hypoid 90 or something like that, but manual just says transmission oil to ford spec wsd-m2c 200-c. the oil thats dripping out doesnt smell like conventional gear oil. whats in there?

theres a drip coming from back end of gearbox, so was going to top up.
doesnt smell like gearbox oil, but is right colour.
isnt ATF usually red.?
