Tyre sizes.

Postby walt1984 » Wed Jun 17, 2015 11:51 am

Our mk7 280 has 195/70 15 tyres. Ive been offered a set of nearly new 195/65 15 off a transporter.
Can i put a pair on the transit or would i need to swap all 4?

Thanks for info. Ive checked load rating on kwick fit web site.
It currently has a 65 profile on front left and a 70 on drivers side.
Long story short, i wanted 2 new tyres but i have 2 spare wheels so i put the spare off my old 57 plate on the carrier.
Then got garage to get me a continental to match the spare the van came with and fit them on the front.
Only came to light when builder selling tyres was looking at mine.
