got a set of drl need ignition live to get power.can I take power straight from the engine fuse box r3 with the live wire having a fuse . Or can I connect to the jumpstart point will that be ignition live or permanent live thanks guys

Jump start point is permanent live, but there's an ignition live in the fuse box beside it,

Thanks mate I read tht but just can't get my head around the relay and diode bit on wether I can take live direct out of it or will it need diode and relay

That's my one in this picture, just use this to power a relay only, using the power from the side of this fuse box. It is rumoured that powering something direct from this point can cause malfunctions elsewhere. So I have a relay with the customary diode across it to stop it spiking back when de-energised.

Just to clarify, this is how the Ford dealer wired the MSDesign drl's when they fitted them to my 2010 van and I used the same feed when I fitted the Ledcom lights to my 2012 van, no diodes were needed.
