thinking about throwing one on as i need a reverse camera too but my arms too lazy to reach across all the time so i'd like to know if these work with original controls?

Yes they have a learning function so you press a button and allocate it's function :-)

Is it easy to fit a steering wheel control? On a mk7 if not got one?

Yes, if you are lucky you'll have the connector where the buttons go on the steering column :-)

If you don't have that then it's 2 wires from the buttons to the radio connector.
It's in my transit clocks thread i think :-)

You need to check with the seller because the unit is pretty generic and different sellers add/remove stuff.
I'm sure you will be able to get a dab 1? Usually they add stuff or have add ons so you may get a dab module that links to it somehow

My one doesn't have DAB but you can buy a D TV box for it so should be able to get radio on that.
