2007 jumbo slide door handle issue

hi guys,

the side door handle keeps playing up on me,if pulled to hard the mechanism flips for want of a better word i can fix it and put it back together and will work as long as i dont pull to hard and help it by pulling out the other side from the shut,ive put a new handle to rule out handle but me been a courier i be rushing and forget and pull to hard and it flips now i can only use the door from inside until i get few mins to put right again ,is there a fix for this is it a common issue?or could i be missing a clip or something that will hold the handle correct and stop it from passing the point of no return?cheers alan

Maybe the cable is stretched or a problem with the actuator, if the door doesn't pop out at the back very easily then you end up breaking the handle usually but since yours doesn't seem to be limited then i suggest the above reasons, mine is fine but the top part of the handle back plate is splitting where it is bolted through the door
