ESC Light

Hi everyone, new to the site and thanking in advance for any help.
I have a 61 plate 115 T350 lwb hi top and the ESC light keeps coming on ( wont go off if button pressed). This just started yesterday and the only way to put it off is by stopping then restarting the engine, then within 4 miles it comes back on again. Annoying on a 300 mile trip.
Anyone any idea where the sensors are and if it is an easy fix or if it is ok to run with this light on?

Do you mean esp?

Does it only come on after driving or would it come on if you started the van for a while?

Typically if it needs to be moving for a while then it is a soft fault generated by things like tyre sizes, wheel alignment, dirty reluctor ring, steering angle sensor calibration, possibly a flattish tyre.
Possibly other things like wiring etc.

And is it the car with squiggly lines coming on the speedo in amber warning light yes?

Sorry hit the wrong letter . Yes you are correct it is the esp .

The light comes on after driving for a while.
Elimination process so far = Tyres all good, wheel alignment good, pressures good, yes it is the squiggly lined amber car light in speedo.
If I am driving and it comes on I just switch the ignition off with clutch in then back on and bump it, then it goes out again for anything from 10 mins to 20 mins.
Is there anything I can clean myself to try eradicating this and if so where are they located.
Would rather try this than put straight to garage also is it safe to run with light on.

Problem solved. The off side rear spring was cracked in half and created a one inch gap. Clearly rusted so must have been like this since I bought the van as I have only had 6 weeks. Garage in the morning to have a new one fitted. Thanks for your help.

Glad it's sorted, when you say spring what exactly are you referring to?
